Art & Drawing ✏️

  • When and why did you start drawing?

    1/4

I started drawing in 2019, as a way to explore a new hobby. I’ve always loved games and animated series (mostly anime) with beautifully designed characters and immersive world-building, so I naturally had an eye for artistic detail. Around that time, I discovered incredible artists like RossDraws, SamDoesArts, and Guweiz, whose work completely fascinated me.

What inspired me was learning from these and other artists that drawing isn’t a skill you’re simply born with—it’s something you can developwith practice and persistence. That mindset motivated me to give it a try, and I quickly found that I truly enjoy sketching and watching my progress as I learn and grow (most of the time, anyway!).

  • What tools or materials do you use?

    2/4

For traditional art, I usually use any blank paper (often printer paper) or a basic sketchbook, along with a 2B or 4Bpencil and a standard eraser.

For digital art, I primarily work with a Wacom Intuos Pro L drawing tablet and Photoshop. From time to time, I also use my iPad Pro with Procreate.

  • Do you only draw people?

    3/4

I primarily focus on portraits and the human figure, as that’s what I enjoy drawing the most. Sometimes, I’ll sketch animals or landscapes, but that happens pretty rarely.

  • Do you use references for your drawings?

    4/4

Yes, I do! References are helpful for learning and understanding things like proportions, anatomyand lighting. They allow me to create more accurate drawings while continuously improving my skills. Most of the time, I find my references on Pinterest, but I also working with 3D models sometimes—they're great for exploring different angles and perspectives. In my opinion, Sketchfab is a good resource for free 3D models.

    2/3

    3/3
